Polyphonic Association of Ravenna

The choir was founded in 1965 under the presidency of Renato Notturni for the purpose of disseminating the folksong of Romagna. Later toward the end of the seventies the choir oriented towards classical polyphony from the fifteen hundreds to modern times. The choir has been directed by: Greca Maria Greco, Giuseppe Montanari, William Galassini, Bruno Zagni (1989-2001). Since 2002 it has been under the direction of Elena Sartori.

Orchestra Mariani SCARL Ensemble

After obtaining a diploma in flute with maximum marks in Ravenna, Matteo Salerno enrolled in further studies in Rome at the National Academy of Saint Cecilia with Maestro Angelo Persichilli. He then took further classes with Patrick Gallois and attended the Academy Incontri col Maestro in Imola studying first with Massimo Mercelli and then with Glauco Cambursano and Maurizio Valentini, taking part at the same time in the master classes of A. Nicolet, M. Larrieux, A. Adorjan, and Gerard.

Minimize Accademia Bizantina

Accademia Bizantina was formed in 1983 with the intent to make music "like a large string quartet", with equal dedication, participation and collective satisfaction.

With the same "chamber" approach today as then, the group is entirely run by the members, who together decide objectives and guidelines.
