Minimize INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF ORAL TRADITION
 
          

The 2nd International Conference on Oral Tradition. Orality and Cultural Heritage was held in Évora (Portugal) on November 8th, 9th and 10th 2012, organized by the city of Évora with the co-organization of CIDEHUS and FCT within the framework of the Oralities programme, which includes the cities of Sliven (Bulgaria), Birgu (Malta), Ravenna (Italy) and also Idanha-a-Nova, Mértola and Évora (project leader) in Portugal.


The objectives of the conference are to think over the production of orality, its importance as a tool for intercultural dialogue and heritage building and as a social reality that must be valued through public visibility.
